Deluxe Suites and Basic Rooms

The Inn’s third and fourth floor are each divided into four overnight guest rooms, following the same plan on both floors, for eight guest rooms total.

To experience The Inn’s luxurious steam showers, choose one of the deluxe suites, which also have small seating areas. The lively A suites face the front of the building, providing views of bustling Division Street and plenty of natural light. Choose a B suite for more space with a greater sense of sanctuary. Facing the building next door, the B suites are quieter and separated from the hallway by a short entranceway.

Like the B suites, the C rooms are quiet and face the building next door. Each D room has a private deck and staircase down to the secret garden in the courtyard behind the building.

Each room at The Inn at Ruby Room features a California-king bed with a goose-down pillow-top mattress and 500-thread-count linens and a glass-and-marble shower. As you might expect from a hotel connected to a salon and spa, your room at The Inn at Ruby Room will be stocked with posh hair and body products and fluffy spa robes. Your room will have free Wi-Fi access and a CD player, but – be warned – this urban oasis is free of distracting television and telephones.

The Inn at Ruby Room takes privacy exceptionally seriously. Each floor has its own security code, so only the people staying on your floor can enter. During your stay, the staff will only come into your room when you ask for service. Write your requests on the chalkboard at the front of the hallway.

Salon, Spa and Other Amenities

The Inn at Ruby Room is the only Wicker Park hotel attached to a salon and spa, so be sure to take advantage of their services. The Inn’s weekday stay and service packages offer exceptional value. The salon provides the usual cut, color, blowout and makeup services, but, unlike other Wicker Park salons, Ruby Room provides a private nook for each stylist. In addition to the spa’s massage, facial and waxing menu, in the upstairs healing sanctuary you’ll find intuitive readings, energy healing and colon hydrotherapy.

During your stay at The Inn at Ruby Room, you can access the 5,000-square-foot fitness facility at Wicker Park Fitness, at the east end of the block, just by showing your room key. You can get free passes for the yoga classes on the second floor of the building just  by asking the concierge. You also have access to the courtyard garden, a clothing steamer and a community kitchen.
